Pramono Answers The Issue Of Advancing The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Titipan Jokowi, Here's The Explanation
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung answered the growing issue that he was a candidate for the Jakarta gubernatorial election because of President Joko Widodo's deposit.

"I often hear about the issue, but I emphasize, a thousand percent of this decision came from Megawati. I am personally very close to Pak Jokowi. We have been working together for more than 22 years. Especially in the kitchen of the president for the last 10 years. But it's important for me to convey, I'm not going forward because of his deposit," Pramono said in his Instagram account, pramonoungw, quoted Thursday, October 17.

Pramono emphasized that after receiving a mandate from Megawati to run for the Jakarta gubernatorial election, Pramono only asked Jokowi for permission. Given, he must resign to undergo the campaign.
"This is a matter of professionalism. As an assistant to the president, for years of course I have to ask for permission before making decisions and big steps like this," Pramono explained.
"I respect his position as President. But what gave me the mandate to move forward came from Megawati. In fact, the President had said that if it was a mandate, yes, accept it and run it well," he added.
