Pretending To Pray, Elderly Men Steal Bags Owned By Jamaah Az-Ziyadah Mosque Klender, East Jakarta

JAKARTA - The bag belonging to a congregation of the Az-ziyadah mosque, Klender, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, was stolen while the victim was performing congregational prayers.

In the CCTV camera footage, the perpetrator of a man is seen coming alone into the mosque area. With an elderly (elderly), the perpetrator pretends to follow the congregational prayers.

At that time, the perpetrator was in the back row and did not fill in the empty shares to perform prayers. The perpetrator actually approached the mosque pole where other congregation's luggage lay.

When the congregation was prostration, the perpetrator immediately took the victim's bag. After getting the target item, the perpetrator immediately left the mosque.

According to Eko, the mosque administrator, this theft was also known by other worshipers who had just entered the mosque.

"The victim lost a bag containing a cellphone, motorcycle key, ATM card and gold jewelry," he told reporters, Thursday, October 17.

Unfortunately, the victim has not reported it to the police.
