MPR Submits Invitation To Prabowo-Gibran's Inauguration To Jusuf Kalla
JAKARTA - The MPR leadership handed over the invitation to the inauguration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka to former Vice President Jusuf Kalla or JK.
"We expect his presence at the MPR session where the event is single, namely the inauguration of the President and Vice President as a result of the 2024 General Election, and thank God he is pleased to attend the event," said MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani on Jalan Brawijaya Raya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.
Muzani said that his party thanked JK for being willing to attend the event which was held on October 20, 2024.
Meanwhile, JK said he was also grateful for being invited to attend the event.
"Hopefully nothing goes wrong. I will be present at the event," said JK.
On that occasion, the MPR leaders consisting of Ahmad Muzani, Bambang Wuryanto, Lestari Moerdijat, Rusdi Kirana, Eddy Soeparno, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, and Abcandra Muhammad Akbar Supratman introduced themselves to JK.
The agenda for the inauguration of the elected president and vice president is scheduled to take place at the Nusantara building, DPR/MPR complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on October 20, 2024 at 10:00 WIB.
