Denmark Open 2024: 3 Indonesian Representatives Qualify For The Second Round
JAKARTA Three Indonesian representatives who played the first at the Denmark Open 2024 both compactly qualified for the second round.
Part of the first round match of the BWF 750 level event took place from Tuesday, October 15, 2024, afternoon to Wednesday, October 16, 2024, dawn.
Women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung became the last representative to get a ticket to qualify for the next round after winning over Denmark's singles, Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt.
"We are grateful to be able to get through today's match even though there was a rubber game," said the fifth seed as accepted in a statement from PBSI.
Gregoria, who won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will then face another host's singles daughter, Mia Blichfeldt.

The duel will be their fifth clash or the first since Gregoria's victory in the first round of the French Open in 2021.
"For the second half tomorrow, I will face the vice hosts again. Of course I will evaluate my game today because there are many mistakes that I should have avoided," said Gregoria.
Two tickets before Gregoria were secured by the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana and mixed doubles Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.
Leo/Bagas passed the age of beating Christopher Grimley/Matthew Grimley from Scotland. While Rehan/Lisa eliminated representatives of India, Sathish Kumar Karunakaran/Aadya Variyath.
Indonesia still has six representatives who have not played their first round. The six are scheduled to take to the field on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, this afternoon.
