A Father In Samarinda Molested A 15-year-old Stepdaughter

SAMARINDA - A father in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, has the heart to molest his own stepdaughter twice. The depraved act was carried out because the perpetrator felt emotional towards the victim's biological mother, who was none other than the perpetrator's wife.

The police finally managed to arrest a man with the initials JM (35) at his home in the Jalan Sungai Kapih area, Samarinda Ilir District, Tuesday night.

The arrest was made after the police received a report from the victim's biological mother. During an examination at the police station, JM finally admitted his actions.

"So we arrested the perpetrator because there were reports related to sexual abuse of children. The victim is known as a follow-up child or stepdaughter. The perpetrator admitted all his actions in accordance with the complainant's statement," said the Head of Subunit Criminal Investigation Unit of the Samarinda City Police, Aipda Badrun.

According to Badrun, it turns out that the JM perpetrator has twice carried out depraved acts against his stepdaughter until the victim feels traumatized. Now, the victim has undergone a post-mortem and has received assistance from a child psychologist to recover the trauma he experienced.

"Based on the results of the interim examination, JM had the heart to molest his stepdaughter, because he was triggered by emotions with the victim's biological mother, who was none other than his own wife. They often got into an argument and after an argument the perpetrator vented his emotions by molesting the victim," added Badrun.
