Prabowo Appoints 3 Deputy Minister Of Finance To Accompany Sri Mulyani
JAKARTA - President-elect Prabowo Subianto plans to install three deputy finance ministers (wamenkeu) to help Sri Mulyani work who is again assigned as finance minister in his new cabinet later.
Prabowo summoned Thomas Djiwandono and Suahasil Nazara both currently serving as deputy finance ministers, and economist Anggito Abimanyu to his residence on Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Jakarta, to assign them the assignment as deputy minister of Finance in his future government cabinet.
Thomas, when met after facing Prabowo with Suahasil and Anggito, confirmed the Elected President's plan.
"So we are given a trio task to help the task of the minister of Finance (the minister of finance). Earlier, the message was quite a lot, one of which was the optimization of state revenues," said Thomas Djiwandono, who is also Prabowo's nephew, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 15.
He continued that Prabowo wanted that as long as he led later, state revenues could continue to be improved, at least reflecting on Cambodia, where the ratio of state revenues from taxes reached 18 percent.
"We are asked to make every effort, strategy, procedures and policies to achieve this goal," said Thomas Djiwandono.

At the same location, Anggito Abimanyu assessed that his future task of helping Sri Mulyani was quite difficult.
