Addressing Kertanegara, Budiman Sudjatmiko Asked Prabowo To Overcome Poverty
JAKARTA - Activist former PDIP politician Budiman Sudjatmiko said he was asked by the elected President Prabowo Subianto to help overcome the problem of poverty.
However, he has not explicitly stated the position he will hold later in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.
Budiman said he would be assigned to a ministry-level institution.
"There are no limited sectors in certain areas, no, but talking about poverty in cities or villages, on beaches or on mountains, right," Budiman said after meeting Prabowo on Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 15.
He said the poverty in question would also be related to nutritional problems, because the problem of malnutrition could have an impact on the emergence of stunting.
According to Budiman, the thing that brought him together with Prabowo was that they both hated the problem of poverty.
"Indeed, it is our main concern. So it is his duty, I help eradicate poverty in Indonesia," he said.
