BYD Expands International Market By Bringing Yuan Plus To Madagascar

JAKARTA - The well-known electric car manufacturer from China, BYD, has officially expanded its international market, launching the Yuan Plus SUV in Madagascar.

Citing from the CNevpost page, Tuesday, October 15, the presence in the Madagascar market expands the presence of the model in the African market, and in the country partners with CFAO dealers.

"The launch of Yuan Plus in Madagascar marks BYD's further expansion of the African market, and currently BYD has entered 12 markets in Africa," BYD said in a statement.

BYD Yuan Plus itself is the first electric SUV made by the Chinese brand for a global market called Atto 3, which is also present in Indonesia.

"ByD will then work closely with its partners to present a more diversified choice of NEV mobility to consumers in Africa," the company added.

The electric car is equipped with the latest BYD e-Platform 3.0 specifically designed for pure electric vehicles. The use of e-Platform 3.0 provides full benefits to intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics.

Regarding the features present in this car, focus on supporting comfort to safety, such as airbags for the driver and passenger side, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Integrated Park Brake (IPB), Track Control System (TCS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) Comfort Stop (CST) Hill Descent Control (HDC).

As additional information, Atto 3 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 60.48 kWh, combined with an electric motor capable of producing 210 hp and 310 Nm of torque. This car can drive from 0-100 km with only 7.3 seconds, with a peak speed of up to 160 km/hour.
