The Death Toll From Israeli Attacks On The Village Of The Christian Majority In North Lebanon Increases To 21 People

JAKARTA - The death toll from an Israeli attack on a majority Christian village in northern Lebanon has increased to 21 people. Eight others were injured.

Reported by CNN, Tuesday, October 15, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said the figures were still initial and DNA tests were being carried out to determine the identity of the bodies.

Monday, October 14 attacks destroyed entire buildings housing people fleeing Israeli bombings in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Red Cross.

Aitou is located nearly 100 kilometers (or about 62 miles) north of Beirut.

The village is located in Zgharta District in northern Lebanon, with a majority population of Christians.
