Plenary Meeting Agrees To The Establishment Of Factions And 13 Commissions In The DPR

JAKARTA - The DPR RI Plenary Meeting approved the establishment of factions and board equipment (AKD) including commissions totaling 13 and agencies.

In this period, there were eight factions in the DPR, namely the PDIP faction with the leaders of the Utut Adianto, Said Abdullah, and Dolfie OFP factions led by Sarmuji, Muhtarudin, Sari Yuliati. The Gerindra faction was led by Budisatrio Djiwandono, Bambang Haryadi, Endipat Wijaya.

Then, the NasDem Faction with the leadership of Martin Manurung, Amelia Anggraini. The PKB faction Jazilul Fawaid, Muhammad Rano Alfath. The PKS faction was led by Jazuli Juwaini, Sukamta. The PAN faction of Putri Zulkifli Hasan, Nazaruddin Dek Gam. As well as the Democratic Faction led by Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, Hinca Panjaitan.

"In that regard, we ask for approval in today's plenary meeting on the formation of the DPR RI team with the composition and name, can it be approved?" asked DPR Speaker Puan Maharani to all the council members present.

"Agreed," replied the council.

Puan also conveyed that the composition of the commissions, consisting of Commission I of the DPR totaling 45 members, Commission II totaling 44 members, Commission III totaling 45 members, Commission IV numbering 45 members, Commission V numbering 45 members, Commission VI numbering 44 members, Commission VII numbering 44 members, Commission VII numbering 45 members, Commission IX numbering 45 members, Commission XI totaling 45 members, Commission XII totaling 44 members, and Commission XIII totaling 44 members.

Puan said, in accordance with the provisions of Article 83 paragraph one of Law Number 2 of 2018 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 17 of 2014 concerning the MPR of the DPR DPD Article 23 of the DPR RI Regulation concerning the rules and regulations state that the DPR RI equipment consists of the leadership of the DPR The Deliberative Body, Commission, Legislation Body, Budget Agency, State Financial Accountability Agency, Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency, Honorary Court of the Council, Household Affairs Agency, Special Committee for Other Apparatus Equipment needed to be formed by the DPR plenary meeting.

Based on these provisions, said Puan, the consultation meeting of the leadership of the DPR and the leaders of the DPR RI factions on October 14, 2024 has agreed to increase the number of commissions from 11 commissions to 13 commissions.

"That's commission one to commission 13. In that regard, we ask for approval in today's plenary meeting on the increase in the number of commissions to 13 commissions, can it be approved?" asked Puan again.

"Agreed," replied the entire board member.
