Muhammadiyah Security Abdul Mu'ti Asked To Sign Integrity Pact Before Called By Prabowo

JAKARTA - General Secretary of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Abdul Mu'ti stated that he had met the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad two days ago to sign the Integrity Pact before being summoned by President-elect Prabowo Subianto.

"Two days ago we met Sufmi Dasco and we signed two documents," said Mu'ti as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

Mu'ti said the two documents were about the willingness to become ministers in the cabinet to be formed.

Second, the Integrity Pact which contains loyalty to the state and is ready to support Prabowo's government and maintain the authority of the president and the authority of the state nation.

"One willingness to become a minister in the cabinet. The two Integrity Pacts are normative. Loyalty to the state and ready to support Prabowo's government and maintain the authority of the president and the authority of the nation," he said.

Previously, the President, Prabowo Subianto, summoned a number of figures who are believed to be ministerial candidates for the new government in the future to his private residence on Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Jakarta, Monday afternoon, to deliver their direct assignments and provide directions.

The names of figures who are believed to have been assigned as ministers by Prabowo who came to Prabowo's residence include Prasetyo Hadi, Sugiono, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Natalius Pigai, Yandri Susanto, Fadli Zon, Nusron Wahid, Saefullah Yusuf, Maruarar Sirait, Abdul Kadir Karding, Wihaji, Teuku Riefky Harsya, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Arifatul Choiru Fauzi, Yassierli, Satryo Soemantri, Tito Karnavian, Zulkifli Hasan, Bahlil Lahadalia, and Abdul Mu'ti.

When summoned to Prabowo's residence, Abdul Mu'ti was asked to become Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen).

"I was given the mandate by him to become Minister of Basic and Secondary Education," said Mu'ti.

When asked whether the Ministry of Education and Culture was divided, Mu'ti admitted that she did not know anything, but if she was officially appointed as the Minister of Education and Culture, it would automatically be split.

"Basic and preventing means not covering Dikti. The basis and prevention of the nomenclature include pre-school, elementary, then junior high and then informal and non-formal," he said.

Prabowo, said Mu'ti, did not provide an explanation about being broken down. Prabowo only said that the task of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education is very important and central to building and educating the nation's life.

"Especially the key to educating the nation's life as mandated in the opening of the 1945 Constitution," he said.
