Geely Launches IDR 100 Million Electric Car, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from China, Geely, officially launched the Xingyuan Geome electric car, which is present in five trims, and two variants including Xingyuan Up for the highest version.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, October 14, the electric car is priced from 69,800 yuan or around Rp153 million and the most expensive is at 98,800 yuan (Rp217 million), with two distance options ranging from 310 km and 410 km.

In an exterior design, Geely Geome Xingyuan is round and has a cute look. The Chinese brand claims that its design is inspired by a 'Smile' that depicts joy.

In terms of dimensions, Geely Geome Xingyuan comes with a length of 4,135 mm, a width of 1,805 mm, a height of 1,570 mm with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm, and can accommodate five people as standard.

Entering the cabin, the cockpit of this car adopts a symmetric layout equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, and a multifunctional steering wheel. In addition, this car is also equipped with Alibaba's digital map or Amap.

There are also 36 storage rooms across all vehicles, including the front trunk with a capacity of 70 L, a storage box with a capacity of 10 L, and a storage compartment with a capacity of 20 L under the center console. The standard volume of the rear trunk is 375 L and can be expanded to 1,320 L after folding the back seat, which can accommodate 17 20-inch suitcases.

Regarding the energy, for the trim distance of 310 km, it comes from a smart electric motor powered by 58 kW (78 hp)/130 Nm, and for a trim distance of 410 km is 85 kW (114 hp)/150 Nm.

This one car offers the highest speed of up to 140 km/hour with an acceleration time of 0-50 km/h only taking 3.9 seconds. Both models are equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack supplied by CATL, with a capacity of 30.12 kWh and 40.16 kWh, each paired with Geely's Shendun battery security system.
