Chery Allocates IDR 100 Billion To Convert Thousands Of Gasoline Fueled Cars Into Electric Cars
PT Chery Sales Indonesia has emphasized its contribution to creating a greener future, by launching the 'Go Green Fund' program, in line with Chery's global initiative, 'For Us, For Future'.
This program will campaign for the transition of gasoline-fueled cars to electrical energy. With this program, Chery is committed to allocating a total of IDR 100 billion or approximately IDR 50 million per unit to convert thousands of gasoline-fueled cars into Chery electric cars, namely Omoda E5.
Chery started running the 'Go Green Fund' program today, October 14, 2024, along with the Chery product exhibition which took place at Mall Kelapa Gading 5.
During the exhibition, the public can consult about the ease of ownership of the Chery Omoda E5, as well as being able to learn other Chery models on display.
Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, expressed that Chery's concern for a greener future has started from technological innovation in Chery Omoda E5 which has become global. In Indonesia, the Chery Omoda E5 is also still an option for those who want to transition to sustainable technology.
"In this program, Chery is committed to allocating Rp100 billion which will be converted into easier for thousands of consumers to own the Chery Omoda E5. Through these various initiatives, Chery hopes to contribute more to reducing exhaust emissions in Indonesia," he said, when met in the Jakarta area, Monday, October 14.

In the campaign, Chery will educate consumers about the benefits of electric vehicles, both benefits for the environment, regarding tax incentives, ease of maintenance, and long-term savings.
"Later on, the car purchased (to convert) was purchased by a dealer using a third party to check the car, then an additional Rp50 million. It can be any car and any year," he added.
As is known, EV technology such as those of Chery Omoda E5 is able to produce a distance of 505 KM of the NEDC / 430 KM method WLTP method with low energy consumption and of course without exhaust emissions which has a negative impact on the environment.
From the benefits of the environment, the Indonesian government encourages consumers to start using electric vehicles and provide easy ownership by setting incentive policies. Thanks to this government policy, Chery Omoda E5 consumers can feel cheaper taxes.
