Jokowi Gives Honorary Signs To 7 Police Units

JAKARTA - Seven Polri units received the honorary sign of Nugraha Sakanti from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Because, it is considered to have contributed to the country.

The award was given during an appointment to hold a security force to take the oath of the elected President and Vice President, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming at the Police Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java.

"The honor mark of Nugraha Sakanti is given to these seven units, because it is considered to have contributed to the police field which is beneficial to the nation and state," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Monday, October 14.

The seven units are Korbrimob Polri, Korlantas Polri, Bareskrim Polri, Baharkam Polri, Densus 88 Anti-terror Polri, Division of International Relations Polri, and Pusdokkes Polri.

The honorary sign was given directly by President Jokowi to each of the leaders of the unit, namely, the Head of the Mobile Brigade of the National Police, Komjen Imam Widodo, Kabareskrim Porli Komjen Wahyu Widada, Kabaharkam Polri Komjen Fadil Imran.

Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Aan Suhanan, Kadivhubinter Polri Inspector General Krishna Murti. Then, Kadensus 88 Anti-terror Polri Inspector General Sentot Prasetyo, and Kapusdokkes Polri Inspector General Asep Hendradiana.

Not only seven units, President Jokowi also received an award from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The President received a sign of honor from Loka Praja Samrakshana.

"This award was given because Jokowi is considered to have played a major role in the development of the Bhayangkara Corps organization and in the efforts of the National Police to optimize protection services to the people of the nation and state," said Trunoyudo.
