Ganjar Ucap Will Attend Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo said he would attend the inauguration of the President-Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Wednesday, October 20.

"God willing, come," said Ganjar in a short message, Sunday, October 13.

Ganjar is one of the candidates in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres) who was invited to the inauguration of Prabowo-Gibran. The chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP has received an invitation from the MPR RI.

"I have received the invitation and I have contacted the Secretariat General of the MPR," he said.

Previously, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani said the previous Presidents and Vice Presidents, as well as national leaders and a number of state heads from friendly countries, would be invited to the inauguration of the President and Vice President.

Then, the MPR also invited candidates for the 2024 presidential election yesterday. In this case, Anies Baswedan, Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo, and Mahfud MD.

"We will also invite former Presidents, former Vice Presidents, leaders of political parties who yesterday contested the general election," said Muzani.

"And the plan is also to attend a number of heads of state and heads of government from friendly countries," added the Secretary General of Gerindra.

Therefore, Muzani asked for blessings from all Indonesian people so that Prabowo Subianto's inauguration as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia runs smoothly.

"We ask for prayers, support, support from all the people and the Indonesian nation so that the inauguration procession on October 20 can run smoothly and everything is in line," said Muzani.
