Israel's Military Restrictions Established Amid Settlements, Hezbollah Asks Residents To Stay Away

JAKARTA - Lebanese militant group Hezbollah asked civilians to stay away from an Israeli military base in the midst of settlements in Israel's northern region.

"Israeli enemy troops use Israeli homes in northern Israel, and have military bases within residential neighborhoods in occupied big cities such as Haifa, Tiberias, Acre," Hezbollah said in Arabic and Hebrew quoted from AFP, Sunday 12 October.

They also warned Israeli civilians not to be near the point of gathering military soldiers for safety.

This warning was conveyed by Hezbollah on Friday, October 11, after almost a year Israel carried out cross-border attacks on Lebanon, then raised the escalation under the pretext of fighting Hezbollah on September 23.

The escalation of attacks on Lebanon has killed more than 1,200 people and displaced about one million people from their homes.

Hezbollah replied by repeatedly announcing it had fired rockets into areas in northern Israel.
