Human Skull Found In Kapuas Allegedly Missing ULM Student
KUALA KAPUAS - Residents of Sei Ahas Village, Mantangai District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan were shocked by the discovery of a human skull in the local village forest which is suspected to be a student at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, who disappeared in May 2024.
"Sabar mas, we are still in the forest heading towards the TKP (the crime scene)," said Mentangai Police Chief AKP Untung Basuki briefly when contacted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 12 night.
Meanwhile, based on the information gathered, the discovery of a human skull in a position fell for the first time when the community pioneered a road in the greening forest area of PT. Asmin in Sei Ahas Village, on Saturday morning at around 07.45 WIB.
The human skull is suspected to be a student of ULM Banjarmasin who was reported missing five months ago, precisely on Thursday (2/5/2024) and named Aditya Dharma Santosa.
When found, the human skull was still wearing a red t-shirt and jeans similar to Aditya's when reported missing in the forest, as well as reinforced by the presence of a number of items found around the same location as the ULM student's.
The public immediately reported the discovery of a human skull that was suspected of being male to the authorities.
There has been no further official statement from the police regarding the discovery of the human skull.

Previously, a Banjarmasin ULM student named Aditya Dharma Santosa was reported missing after carrying out a geotagging activity in Sei Ahas Village, Mantangai District, together with his colleague, on May 2, 2024.
The search effort was carried out by the Joint Team, both from the Palangka Raya National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Kapuas BPBD, TNI/Polri, volunteers and the local community, but to no avail until finally the search effort was stopped.
