Minister Of Transportation Budi Karya: The President Really Wants The Dependence Of A Private Car To Be Left Behind
TANGERANG - Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) inaugurated the increase in Minimum Service Standards (SPM) at Jurangmangu Station, South Tangerang.
The Minister of Transportation (Menhub) of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Karya Sumadi said this revitalization was a form of government focus on the community to provide comfort to the public in using mass transportation.
"Mr. President Jokowi really wants that dependence on the private car must be abandoned," said Budi Karya in his statement seen on Sunday, October 13.
Budi Karya also said that by increasing this minimum service standard, it would be an added value for South Tangerang in increasing public interest in using mass transportation.

The construction of the Jurangmangu Station is not only an upgrade at the station, but this is a manifestation of a Transit-oriented Area (TOD) that provides added value for Commuter Line users. This facility according to SPM is part of a roadmap for integrated, modern, and pedestrian-friendly rail transportation," he said.
