JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most parts of Indonesia have the potential to experience light rain on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
"For the Sumatra region, Banda Aceh City is predicted to be thick cloudy," said Idhan Abubakar forecaster on the BMKG Youtube channel, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday morning.
Pekanbaru City is predicted to experience moderate rain.
Forecasters predict heavy rain in Padang City and rain that can be accompanied by lightning in Medan and Tanjung Pinang.
Then rain accompanied by lightning is also predicted in the cities of Jambi, Bengkulu, Palembang, Pangkalpinang, and Lampung.
"For the Java region, the city of Yogyakarta is predicted to be cloudy," he said.
Meanwhile, in the city of Semarang and the city of Surabaya, there is the potential for air to escape, while the cities of Jakarta, Bandung and Serang are predicted to experience light rain.
