Intel Launches World's First AI PC Processor, Playing Games Becomes More Advanced
JAKARTA - Intel has just launched a desktop processor with the world's first AI capability, the Intel Core Ultra 200S series, which offers outstanding performance for technology and gamers.
This processor is equipped with up to 8 Performance-cores and 16 Efficiency-cores which will increase performance by up to 14 percent compared to the previous generation.
With NPU (Neural Processing Unit) and built-in GPU Xe integrations, this processor also supports AI features that are useful for improving gaming and content creation experiences.
"The latest Intel Core Ultra 200S series processor meets our goal of significantly reducing power usage while maintaining extraordinary gaming performance and providing leading computing," said Robert Hallock, vice president and general manager of AI and Technical Marketing, Client Computing Group.

The Intel Core Ultra 200S processor is also designed for power efficiency, reducing energy consumption by 58 percent in daily use and 165W while playing games.
The result is a cooler and quieter user experience, which is enhanced by AI gaming and creation capabilities, thanks to the NPU and the performance of leading media that take advantage of our growing graphic portfolio, continued Hallock.
In addition, Intel has also added an upgraded overclocking feature and advanced connectivity with PCIe 5.0 support, 6E Wi-Fi, and Thunderbolt 4. This processor will be available on the market starting October 24, 2024.
