Jokowi Talks About Politics When Eating Night With Prabowo

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo admitted that he talked many things, including politics, when having dinner with Elected President Prabowo Subianto at a restaurant in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/10) night.

"Yes, there is politics, there are economic matters, there are a lot of things," said Jokowi after attending the 79th Anniversary Peak Night of Mining and Energy at the Kempinski Hotel Ballroom, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 10.

He said the meeting was held for two and a half hours. He could not tell the details of what conversations were held.

"Meeting for two and a half hours, I will discuss a lot. I can't tell you, if I tell you about the story in two and a half hours," said Jokowi.

Previously, President Joko Widodo and Elected President Prabowo Subianto had dinner and discussed at a restaurant in Jakarta, Tuesday, for more than two hours.

This was conveyed through uploads on Instagram @jokowi social media.

"Discussions are relaxed while having dinner with the Elected President, Mr. @prabowo. It doesn't feel like it's been more than two hours," Jokowi wrote in his upload.

The social media uploaded a photo of President Jokowi sitting face-to-face with Prabowo Subianto at the dining table, in a room.

The chairs occupied by Jokowi and Prabowo are similar, made of wooden frames. The two of them seemed to be chatting casually while waiting for food to come.
