Not only that, this event also encourages increased investment in the beauty sector, where many companies both at home and abroad show more interest in investing in Indonesia, driven by the fast-growing market potential.
Pamerindo Indonesia's optimism for this year is increasing. This can be seen from the increase in the number of exhibit participants from 250 participants with 1,000 brands in 2023, to 380 participants who exhibited 1,200 brands from various countries such as China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Britain, and the United States in 2024.
The size of the scale of Indonesia's Cosmobeaute is directly proportional to its influence in shaping the direction of the beauty business in Indonesia.
With this responsibility, the exhibition is considered to be able to encourage industry players not only to focus on profit, but also to consider social, economic, and environmental impacts. The theme this year is "Resilient Solutions for the Greener Beauty Industry."
More and more consumers are aware of brand ethics and sustainable practice in choosing products. A study in the UK shows that more than 40 percent of women are willing to pay more for products with environmentally friendly packaging. This trend encourages many major beauty brands to focus more on sustainability, seeing the economic and social potentials that can be generated.
The concept of "sustainability in beauty" refers to beauty products that pay attention to environmental, social and economic impacts, ranging from the selection of raw materials, production processes, to packaging and distribution. The goal is to create products that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable as a whole.
We emphasize the importance of sustainable innovation and supporting the welfare of the environment and society. Through seminars, events, and collaborations with various related parties, we want to increase awareness and encourage positive changes in the beauty industry," said Juanita.
Furthermore, there are also Wellness Hubs that cooperate with various parties, such as RSGM Yarsi, Jamberdetak Derma Tech, and René Furterer, providing new experiences for visitors in the form of consultations and free hair, skin and teeth health checks.
In addition, there will be a Special Massage Zone in collaboration with the visually impaired disability community for visitors who want relaxation.
Support for the success of Cosmobeaute Indonesia comes from various agencies such as the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry, the LPPOM MUI, and other leading beauty industry associations in Indonesia.
