The story of Naomi missing on Mount Slamet began when Naomi joined the climb together to Mount Slamet with someone she knew via TikTok.
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, Naomi left for the Mount Slamet climbing route for the Purbalingga Region by riding a motorcycle alone.
The climb was not the first experience for Naomi. Previously, he had climbed Mount Ungaran.
"From here there are no friends, to Mount Slamet itself, to meet him at the basecamp," said Naomi to reporters at her home, Wednesday, October 8, 2024.
He continued, there were three groups on the climb together. They can only climb at 12.45 WIB. They did not set up a tent, so they immediately went down as soon as they got to the top.
"Initially it was safe, the road was on track. The peak also went up according to the track. Until Plawangan was at 10.00 WIB, there was a sunrise on the way. Continue to climb to the top until around 12.00 WIB," he said.
During the climb, Naomi joined the group 3 consisting of 7 people. However, three people have gone down first. Meanwhile, Naomi and two men and one other woman only went up to the top when the three people had already dropped.
"We went up four, we continued to go down four months, we got along. We had clear hair first, I wanted to follow, I thought I could follow it, it wasn't. I'm tired, I'll take a break first," said Naomi.
While resting, Naomi still saw two colleagues who were behind her. He even looked twice to make sure he wasn't alone.
"I look at the reinforcements, there are still people, I look at the reinforcements, when I look at the three, there are no orags at all. It's really quiet, right and left, I don't have a way, really it's forest," said Naomi.
Naomi realized that she was behind the group. Even so, Naomi tries to keep her hopes. She screamed for help, hoping someone would listen to her.
Even though there was no response, Naomi tried to strengthen her determination to survive. Naomi then tried to find a way out. She continued to search for the forest downstream. Finally, Naomi found a fence that would somehow break through, so she decided to go back up.
As long as she gets lost in the middle of the forest, Naomi has to face the storm rain. He never thought he had to spend the night alone on Mount Slamet, which he had only climbed once.
On Monday, October 7, 2024 morning, Naomi was suddenly approached by a bird secokor. Her sensation said the bird seemed to show the way in the right direction. She also followed the direction of the bird.
"I saw that in the future there were birds, I felt it being directed down, I followed him, he came down I went up. He went up I went up. But the road he chose was bad, so I was injured," he said.
Because she still couldn't find a way, Naomi chose to go back up. Alone in the middle of the wilderness, Naomi only relies on torn bread which is only 6 pieces and a 1.5 liter mineral water bottle that she refills from the spring.
"Eat it really saves, a piece for a day because I don't know how long it will be," he explained.
The day after, when she fell asleep, Naomi returned to meet the birds she was following.
"The morning I eat, drink, look at the sunrise, shown again by the birds, there are 3. The anger of the bird goes to the roots. If the roots are stepped on, it will break, if I break it I fall," he explained.
After walking quite far, Naomi heard a sound of people screaming his name. The strain was immediately relieved by that moment.
I said 'I'm here'. There I'm relieved that I was found. Finally, I was helped down. I wasn't carried at all because I wasn't offered, "he explained.
