KPUPR Builds 5,999 Km National Roads During Jokowi's 10 Years Of Leadership
JAKARTA - The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has built 5,999 kilometers of national roads during the 10-year leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"During 2015-2024, the government through the Ministry of PUPR increased the country's connectivity through the construction of 5,999 kilometers of national roads in various regions," explained PUPR quoted from its official Instagram upload @kemenpupr, Thursday, October 10.
PUPR explained that the existence of reliable national roads allows more efficient mobilization of people and goods. Thus, reducing logistics costs and enabling equitable distribution of development results to various regions.

"The increase in connectivity through road infrastructure development that connects economic centers also supports Indonesia's competitiveness which will increase to 27th position in 2024 from 34th position in the previous year," he explained.
