6 Presidents Who Do Not Have First Ladys

YOGYAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to be sworn in as the 8th President of Indonesia to replace Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on October 20, 2024. This inauguration procession will be held at the DPR/MPR building in Senayan. Prabowo is the only president of the Republic of Indonesia who does not have a partner or companion as the first lady.

If Prabowo later officially serves as President of the Republic of Indonesia, many parties are still wondering who will become the first lady. Currently, Prabowo is a widower. He was married to Siti Hediati Hariyadi or better known as Titiek Suharto, daughter of the 2nd President of Indonesia, Suharto.

There is a lot of speculation circulating that Prabowo may marry Titiek again. If that happens, then Titiek will most likely become the new first lady. The case of a president who is not married has occurred in several countries. Some of them still have a first lady even though they are not married, while others do not have a first lady.

He studied at Dickinson College, where he was known as a talented debater and then continued his legal studies. Coming from the Democratic Party, Buchanan is known as a controversial figure because of his views in favor of the pro-slavery movement, which eventually sparked a civil war in America.

Because he did not have a partner, James Buchanan then chose his orphaned cousin, Total Lane, to serve as the first lady.

As the first lady,MINA adopted several royal manners and traditions after visiting England and meeting Queen Victoria and Louis Philippe. She chaired the annual reception on New Year's Day and various other social events at the Executive Palace during her father-in-law's presidency.
