Former Governor Of East Kalimantan And His Son Were Summoned By The KPK Today
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned three people to be investigated for alleged corruption in mining business permits (IUP) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim) today, Tuesday, October 8.
Those summoned included former East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak and his son who also serves as Keyua Kadin Kaltim Dayang Donna Walfiaries Tania.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of AFI as the former Governor of East Kalimantan and DDWT as Chairman of the East Kalimantan Chamber of Commerce and Industry," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, October 8.
Apart from the two people, Tessa also said that the other parties who were summoned were ROC. Meanwhile, from the information circulating, this initial is Rudy Ong Chandra who is a Commissioner of PT Sepiak Jaya Kaltim, PT Cahaya Bara Kaltim, PT Bunga Jadi Lestari, PT Anugerah Pancaran Bulan, and a 5 percent shareholder in PT Tara Indonusa Coal.
Tessa has not yet detailed the material for the investigation by the investigator. However, Faroek had already been summoned even though he was not present.

Previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption related to mining business permits (IUP) in East Kalimantan. The investigation was carried out since 19 September.
In this case, three suspects have been named. The KPK has also searched a number of locations in East Kalimantan, including the house of former East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak.
In addition, the anti-corruption commission has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent three people from leaving the country for six months. The two who are not allowed to travel are Awang Faroek Ishak and his son, Payang Donna Walfiares Tania or Dayang Donna Faroek.
