Potlot Jam As Proof Of Potlot Gang Once Born Many Musicians So Far

JAKARTA - Potlot Jam was present as a special show at the third day of Synchronize Fest 2024 which took place at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 6.

Those who appear in Potlot Jam are Slank, Imanez's Otto Jam, Anda Perdana, Anang Hermansyah, Kidnap Katrina, Bongky, Ipang Lazuardi, Oppie & BOP, and The Flowers.

Anang called the presence of Potlot Jam this time as proof that the musicians who started their careers at Gang Potlot in mid-1990s were musicians who were able to survive to date.

According to him, the younger generation who may not know musicians from Gang Potlot, can get an overview of the appearance of Potlot Jam.

"We also want to describe Potlot, friends of Potlot still exist today. This is to remind us that there used to be associations that produced stars in their time," said Anang Hermansyah during a press conference session.

The Let it be' singer also appreciated the existence of Synchronize Fest, which he said was the pioneer of a music festival that supported local musicians.

"I personally am happy with Synchronize, because this is the first event in Indonesia and followed by others," he said.

In the special Potlot Jam show, Oppie & BOP started its appearance by bringing 'Personal Holidays' and Only Imaginations.

Then Kidnap Katrina with vocalist Anang Hermansyah brought 'Blue' and 'Let it be'.

The Flowers also appeared on stage by bringing 'Please) Mrs. Doctor', a song from the album 17 Years of Overlapping which was released in 1997.

The songs of the late Imanez were also featured by Slank, along with Otto Jam, Anda Perdana, Ipang Lazuardi, and Vava Imanez.
