Gerindra: The Time For The Signing Of The IKN Presidential Decree Is Still Being Reviewed By Prabowo
JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the time for the signing of the Presidential Decree regarding the relocation of the capital city to the capital city of the archipelago (Keppres IKN) was still being studied by the elected President Prabowo Subianto.
"Because at this time Prabowo is still busy compiling, reviewing the Presidential Decree of ministries which will soon be announced, and inaugurated," said Dasco, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 7.
Dasco emphasized that the IKN Presidential Decree would definitely be signed by Prabowo after being sworn in as president
Previously, President Joko Widodo said that Presidential Decree IKN should be signed by President-elect Prabowo, when everything related to readiness in the new capital city has been fulfilled.
"Yes, it should be like that, the new President, Prabowo (who signed)," said President Joko Widodo after opening the Nusantara TNI Fun Rundi IKN, East Kalimantan, Sunday (6/10).

The President previously said that he could not decide on strategic decisions at the end of his remaining two weeks. However, regarding the IKN Presidential Decree, he said, this also concerns the readiness of everything in the capital city.
"Once again I say, moving the capital city is not only a physical matter, but building the ecosystem is what is necessary, and the ecosystem must be," he said.
