A Year Of Israeli Attacks, 146 Doctors In Gaza Killed

JAKARTA - Gaza's Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) announced Israel had killed 146 doctors from various specialties in the Palestinian pocket since the Zionist military staged its genocide campaign on October 7, 2023.

Reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Monday, October 7, most of the drugs and medical supplies have also run out amid the Israeli military genocide, the Gaza Ministry of Health said.

In a statement marking one year of Israeli genocide, the ministry said 83 percent of medical supplies and 60 percent of medicines were not available in hospitals and health centers.

In addition, there are 25,000 patients and injured people who need treatment outside the surrounded area.

Since the Israel-Hamasbreak War on October 7, 2023, Israel has cut off electricity supply to Gaza and prevented the entry of fuel to operate the only power plant there.

Not only that, the Israeli authorities also stopped the supply of water, communication, food, and medical supplies, and closed the crossing.

Since the genocide, Israel has prevented the entry of humanitarian, medical, and fuel aid, allowing only a small amount of assistance to international organizations that do not meet the needs of the population.

Israel continues its brutal attacks on the Gaza Strip following attacks carried out by the Palestinian Hamas group on October 7 last year, despite UN Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Nearly 41,900 Palestinians were killed, mostly women and children, and more than 97,100 others were injured, local health authorities said.

Israel's attack left almost the entire population in the Palestinian enclave displaced amid an ongoing blockade that caused food shortages, clean water, and medicines.

Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court for its actions in Gaza.
