Regarding Debt, Residents Of Bojong Terong Depok Experience Beatings

JAKARTA - ADS, a resident of Bojong Pondok Terong, Cipayung, Depok, West Java (West Java), experienced a beating on Sunday, October 6 afternoon. The case was triggered by a debt problem.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said, initially ADS borrowed Rp 5 million from the US. "Then the victim (ADS) has already paid Rp 2 million, then the victim promised that the rest will be paid off on October 2, 2024," he said when contacted Monday, October 7.

Until it matured, ADS did not immediately pay off the debt. The US and several of his colleagues then went to ADS' residence in Bojong Pondok Terong.

"Arriving at the scene, the victim was suddenly beaten by the victim's hand and then beaten and kicked with his bare hands and the legs of the head and neck by the perpetrators," he said.

Not only that, some of ADS' personal items such as cellphones to ID cards were also brought by the US after the beating. Due to this incident, ADS suffered injuries to the head, eyes and neck due to strangulation during the beating.

"The case is handled by the Depok Metro Police," said Ade Ary.
