Callisto And Ronin Become The Mainstay Of TVS Sales In Indonesia
JAKARTA - TVS Motor Indonesia already has various models marketed in the country, and two models are now the mainstay of the sales side.
The model is Callisto or known as TVS Jupiter in India. Another one is a TVS Ronin model which recently arrived to enliven the Indonesian two-wheeled market.
"If there are two heroes, there are Callisto 110 and 125 are still mainstays, then there is TVS Ronin. The two backbones are now domestic favorites," said Head Marketing TVS Ryan Rahadian, when met in the Jakarta area, recently.
In specifications, TVS Callisto 125 itself is a major change version, which has various changes compared to the 110 cc version. Changes include machines, designs, features to frames.
Regarding the heart of the runway, Callisto 125 is equipped with a 124.8cc one cylinder with air conditioning and injection. The power produced is 6 kW or the equivalent of 8 TK at 6,500 rpm and a torque of 10.5 Nm at 4,500 rpm.
The power is channeled to the rear wheels via CVT, and is also equipped with electric silent start and Intelligo TVS, so the starter is not noisy and can turn off the engine when it stops for a few seconds.
Meanwhile, for TVS Ronin itself comes with several versions, most recently there is Ronin Nimbus. The model is priced at IDR 41 million and still uses the Ronin TD base, so it is equipped with dual ABS channels, front brake levers and tunable couplings, to a full digital marker with Smart Connect.
Regarding the heart of the runway, Ronin Nimbus uses the same machine as other Ronin. So there is still 225.9cc one cylinder, has been injected and produces 20 kindergartens at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm torque at 3,750 rpm.
