Apple Ready To Release IPhone SE 4 With A New Design And Advanced Feature
JAKARTA - Apple is rumored to be releasing the iPhone SE 4 in the spring of next year, about six months from October. This will be the first update for the iPhone SE in three years and is expected to be the biggest change since it was first launched.
After a long use of the iPhone 8 design since the iPhone SE 2 in 2020, the iPhone SE 4 will switch to a more modern design, similar to the iPhone 14. Hopefully, this device will come with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, a flat edge design, and Face ID.
Smaller notches like the iPhone 14 will also be used. However, despite appearing more sophisticated, the iPhone SE 4 may only have one rear camera, in contrast to the iPhone 14 which uses a dual camera.
Apple is predicted to leave the Lightning port and replace it with USB-C, following EU regulations requiring electronic devices to use a uniform charging port. This makes the iPhone SE 4 the last iPhone to switch to USB-C, following the steps of the iPhone 15.
In terms of camera, the iPhone SE 4 will get a significant improvement. The rear camera is expected to use a 48MP sensor like the iPhone 15, up far from the 12MP sensor in the previous generation of iPhone SE. The front camera will also experience an upgrade with a 12MP sensor, replacing the 7MP selfie camera currently used on the iPhone SE 3.
Apple Intelligence Support
One of the flagship features expected to be present on the iPhone SE 4 is support for Apple Intelligence technology, with the A18 chip and 8GB RAM. This feature will allow for a variety of advanced functions such as writing tools, automatic deletion in photos, Genmoji, and Siri that are smarter.
In addition, the iPhone SE 4 will be the first iPhone to use Apple's own modem, which has been developed for years after Intel's modem business acquisition in 2019. This modem will support 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, replacing the modem from Qualcomm.
While it is predicted that it will be more expensive than its predecessor, the iPhone SE 4 will still be one of the iPhones at affordable prices, starting at $499. At that price, the iPhone SE 4 offers advanced features and modern designs that make it very competitive in the market.
Apple will most likely stop selling the iPhone 14 after the release of the iPhone SE 4, which makes the iPhone lineup more uniform with all models having a USB-C port.
