YouTube Restores Accounts And Channels Affected By System Errors

JAKARTA - In recent hours, YouTube has accidentally deleted a number of channels and banned user accounts for violations of the "spam, fraudulent practices and scams" policy. Even for users who never upload videos. These errors appear to be caused by bugs in the system.

On Friday 4 October, YouTube announced that all wrongly deleted channels had been fully restored, including access to paid membership such as YouTube TV, YouTube Premium, and YouTube Music. The missing playlist is also in the process of recovering.

Some users report losing access to their accounts for no apparent reason, including users who do not have a history of violations. In fact, Premium subscribers are affected because they cannot access saved content, such as favorite playlists and videos.

YouTube has apologized for this incident and asked users who are still having problems to immediately contact technical support. They also stated that there is no need to worry if content, such as playlists, has not been fully restored, as this is just a temporary delay.

The affected users initially received an email informing them that their account was deleted, but some managed to appeal and regain access to their account. YouTube ensures that they are automatically fixing this problem without requiring action from users.

These errors have raised concerns among users around the world, including in the US, Europe and Asia, who have lost access to private content and subscribed to them.
