BPK Checks Bogor Regency Government Finances For The Next 19 Days

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative of West Java conducted a financial examination of the Bogor Regency Government in the next 19 days.

Head of BPK RI West Java Representative, Widhi Widayat in Cibinong, Friday, October 4, revealed that the inspection carried out included an assessment of compliance with regulations that apply to infrastructure spending management in Bogor Regency.

"This examination aims to assess the effectiveness of internal control and risks that may occur in infrastructure spending management," said Widhi, quoted from Antara.

According to him, over the next 19 days, the BPK team will conduct a preliminary examination in Bogor Regency, which will be followed by a detailed examination.

He hopes that this examination will be able to provide recommendations that can help the Bogor Regency Government in improving financial governance, especially related to infrastructure spending.

"Through this examination, we hope to provide constructive input for future improvements, so that Bogor Regency can be better in financial and development management," said Widhi.

Meanwhile, Acting Regent of Bogor Bachril Bakri in the same place emphasized that the Bogor Regency Government is committed to increasing transparency and accountability in budget management.

According to Bachril, this examination is an important step in ensuring effective infrastructure spending management and in accordance with statutory regulations.

He said that apart from conducting the examination, the team also signed an Integrity Pact by representatives of the head of the SKPD, sub-district head, and the Director of the RSUD, as a form of transparency and accountability commitment.

"I hope this examination can be a constructive input for all of us. Bogor Regency has started implementing the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in budgeting, which will certainly help us ensure compliance and transparency," Bachril said.
