Wife Of West Aceh Islamic Boarding School Leader Who Flushed Santri With Chili Water Detained By Police

The West Aceh Police detained NN (40), the wife of the head of a boarding school in West Aceh for allegedly pouring chili water on the body of a student.

"We have determined the perpetrator as a suspect since Thursday (3/10) and we have detained him at the West Aceh Police Headquarters," said Head of the West Aceh Police Satreskrim Iptu Fachmi Suciandy, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 4.

According to him, the suspect NN was detained by the police after investigators found sufficient evidence to make arrests.

"The suspect NN has also admitted his actions," said Fachmi.

Based on his confession to investigators, suspect NN admitted that he was annoyed with the behavior of the victim with the initials T because he often smoked in Islamic boarding schools and often committed violations.

Even though he has been repeatedly warned not to smoke, victim T still repeats his actions to smoke in the pesantren environment.

On the day of the incident on Monday (30/9), the victim was again found smoking cigarettes in the pesantren environment so that the suspect NN, who was suspected of being annoyed, spontaneously put the chili into the victim's mouth.

"So, the perpetrator was annoyed with T's behavior who often smoked and then spontaneously put chili into the victim's mouth. Incidentally, at that time the suspect was blending chilies to sell meatballs," said Fachmi.

The suspect NN is also known to sell meatballs in the pesantren environment canteen and at the time of the incident he was blending chilies.

Regarding the information that the victim was doused with chili water, Fachmi said that until now the police are still investigating and conducting investigations.

In this case, the suspect NN was charged with Article 80 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 76 c of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
