Japan 2024 MotoGP Practice Results: Fastest Brad Binder

JAKARTA Red Bull KTM Factory Racing racer, Brad Binder, came out as the best to break the dominance of Ducati riders in the 2024 Japan MotoGP Practice session.

The South African rider put the best lap time in one minute 43,436 seconds at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit, Japan, on Friday, October 4, 2024, evening WIB.

Binder is ahead of the second position occupied by Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) as well as the leader of the drivers' standings this season, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), in third place.

Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia actually controlled the early minutes of the session. The Italian rider did not falter even though he was overshadowed by his rivals this season, Jorge Martin.

Bagnaia is in control at least before the middle of the session. However, the changes then came after Binder began to claim the top spot.

Then, the rookie from Spain Pedro accorda (Red Bull GAS Tech3) also had time to move up to first position. However, this position was later claimed by Jorge Martin. Askota finally finished in fourth place.

Jorge Martin, the winner of the 2024 Indonesian MotoGP, entered the seed to become the loudest after taking the lead. However, Binder managed to sharpen his time record to lock up the first position.

Meanwhile, Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), who had an accident at Turn 13, ended this side by completing the top five positions.

Five consecutive riders after that were Maverick Vinales, Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Marquez, and Duo Pertamina Enduro VR46 Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi.
