Prudential Sharia Presents PRUCritical Trust, Complete Protection Of Risks Of Critical Diseases Since The Initial Stage

JAKARTA - PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance (Prudential Syariah) presents the latest innovation, PruCritical Amanah, traditional sharia life insurance which provides comprehensive protection benefits for the risk of critical diseases, from the early stages to the final stages, or if there is a risk of death that provides compensation to beneficiaries.

Critical or commonly known as critical illness is a term used to describe the patient's critical, chronic medical condition, requiring further action or causing death.

Critical diseases began to lurk at productive age and even became the main cause of death globally. In 2023 alone, 41 million people die each year due to critical illness, this emphasizes the urgency of protection from the risk of early and comprehensive critical diseases. Even in Indonesia, the number of critical diseases continues to increase by 28 percent from 23 million to 29 million cases in 2023.

"Seeing the trend of increasing critical diseases and their medical expenses that occur globally and in Indonesia, we are committed to presenting high quality products through the PRUCritical Trust. With an earlier protection solution, if there is a risk of critical illness, patients can focus on a more maximum healing process and be more financially prepared," said President Director of Prudential Syariah, Iskandar Ezzahuddin, in his statement, Friday, October 4.

PRUCritical Amanah offers three main benefits. Ika Meynita, Head of Product Management Prudential Syariah explained further about these main benefits.

"The main benefits of PRUCritical Amanah include comprehensive protection for critical diseases from the early stages, free payment of contributions since being diagnosed with early stages and final benefits of participation of up to 100 percent Insurance Compensation," he explained.

The benefits of early critical disease protection provide Insurance Compensation of 25 percent or a maximum of IDR 1 billion and participants are also exempt from payment of remaining Contributions after submission of claims is approved, so that the diagnosed participants can focus on the recovery process.

Meanwhile, the remaining insurance compensation will be paid if participants are re-diagnosed at the end stage or when there is a risk of death. This product also provides a plan that provides final benefits for membership of up to 100 percent of the Insurance Compensation that participants will receive at the age of 85 and these benefits can be used for future survival.

"The PRUCritical Amanah product series is a form of #MoreAwalBekali's move that Prudential Syariah has prepared for Indonesian families in facing the risk of living up to critical disease conditions," explained Iskandar.

At the launch of the PRUCritical Amanah, Prudential Syariah collaborated with Eka Hospital which is part of the PRUPriority Hospitals network, to provide mini medical check-up facilities. This is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to supporting early detection efforts for potential critical diseases as an early preparation and starting from prevention to proper medical treatment.
