Suspicious Object Found At The Bus Stop In Front Of GPIB Effatha Church, Melawai

JAKARTA - A suspicious object was found at the bus stop in front of the GPIB Effatha Church, Jalan Melawai, South Jakarta. The police are now handling the finding of this suspicious object.

"Yes, it is true (there is a suspicious object)", said Kebayoran Baru Regional Police, Supriyanto when confirmed, Friday, April 2.

In the photo of the suspicious object received by VOI editorial team, it looks like a book-like object with quite a thick page.

The book-like object has a black cover with a red border. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the book cover, it is written that the Terror, Intelligence Against the Islamic Movement. There is also writing on the cover of the book, namely Islamic magazine.

Reportedly, the bomb disposal team (Gegana) of the regional police was heading to the location to check.

Supriyanto admitted that he could not provide any other explanation. His party is waiting for the Gegana team.

"But we will keep an eye on it first, waiting for the Gegana team to arrive", he said.
