JAKARTA - The police confirmed that the cause of death of seven teenagers whose bodies were found in the Bekasi River was due to drowning. The skill is based on a series of investigation results.

"It can be concluded that the cause of death was based on the results of the external examination, autopsy and toxicology of the seven bodies who died due to drowning," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Audy Joize Oroh, to reporters, Friday, October 4.

The seven teenagers are Ahmad Davi (16), Muhamad Farhan (20), Muhammad Rizki (19), Ridho Darmawan (15), Rizki Ramadan (15), Rezky Dwi Cahyo (16), and Vino Satriani (15).

In addition, the Forensic and Illegal Specialist Doctor of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, dr. Farah said the conclusion referred to the results of the external and internal examinations of the seven bodies.

For external examination, all the hands of the bodies are in a condition of wrinkles. This is identical to the condition when you drink water for a long time.

"Then he was still fully dressed and found signs of being submerged like his clothes were wet, his hands were wrinkled," he said.

As for the internal examination, of the seven bodies, sand and mud were found in the digestive and respiratory parts.

Then, based on lung sap samples, the bones of their bones were also found withmissions or water plants.

"We did an in-depth examination and we found that there was sand and mud as digestive tract and respiratory tract," he said.

For open wounds, it was confirmed that they were not found in the examination. Thus, the results of the examination concluded that the cause of death was because they drowned.

"Then in the seven bodies, no open injuries or fractures were found. Then from our conclusions as a team, the seven bodies died according to drowning conditions," said Farah.

It is known that seven bodies of teenagers were found in Kali Bekasi, on Sunday, September 22. They are said to be part of 60 people who previously gathered around the location with the aim of going to a brawl.
