Become An Environmental Activist, A Number Of Challenges Faced By Nadia Mulya

JAKARTA - In addition to being an actress and host, Nadia Mulya is now also busy as an environmental activist. He built a community that focuses on the environment with Langit Biru Pertiwi.

As an environmental activist, Nadia admits that she has experienced many challenges. However, the biggest challenge is educating the public about the importance of protecting the environment.

"The biggest challenge is education and attention to people (to protect the environment). The fatigue is there, we want to educate, but those who are educated are difficult to accept," said Nadia Mulya when met in the Gatot Subroto area, South Jakarta, on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Nadia Mulya said that Indonesia has many interesting tourist spots, which stand out for natural wealth. However, nature is not well maintained, even by the surrounding community, who often litters.

"Indonesia is really good, there are some spots that don't seem to lose to other locations in the world. But you will see garbage, sometimes even the person who throws the garbage himself is the person who lives there," he said.

"So on the one hand we are empowered, on the other hand we feel hopeless in my opinion," he added.

With that, Nadia admitted that she always strives to continue to actively carry out environmental activities with Langit Biru Pertiwi. He hopes that the activities carried out can further build awareness of people to actively protect the environment.

Langit Biru Pertiwi invites friends to carry out activities because when we come into contact with the environment and see the paradox, people will feel 'I have to do something', explained Nadia Mulya.
