Support Food Security Program, Jhonlin Group Builds 16.8 Km Road In Merauke

JAKARTA - The government's program strengthens food security supported by many parties, including the Jhonlin Group. This company even built roads in Merauke, South Papua along 16.8 kilometers to support the 1 million hectare project of rice fields.

Assistant project operations, Denny Ramdhani or Haji Deden said the road built by Jhonlin Group is expected to cut barriers to land creation.

"This is full power. All the facilities, all the fleets, air, land, and sea owned are deployed to support this project. This project must be successful," said Denny in a written statement quoted on Wednesday, October 2.

Denny ensured that the owner of Jhonlin Group, Andi Samsudin Arsyad or Haji Isam would focus on encouraging government programs and transitions. He is optimistic that efforts to help food security continue.

The road that is built is planned to pass through four districts. "District Ilwayab, District Kaptel, Ngguti District, and Muting District," said Denny.

In addition, Jhonlin Group is also working on road hardening with stone material that has been running reaching 3.3 kilometers.

"This step starts from the port that will be built in Wanam Village, Ilwayab District," explained Denny. "Then it stretched towards Kaptel District, Merauke Regency, South Papua Province," he said.

Meanwhile, for construction needs, dozens of barges and tugboats of Haji Isam Milik will be deployed. So, in the future, obstacles to opening swamp areas into rice fields can only be carried out more quickly for the success of government programs.

"To make the presidential program a success, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, is self-sufficient in national food through the printing of one million hectares of rice fields," concluded Denny.
