Bawaslu Intervenes About 10 Village Heads In Serang Allegedly Supporting Paslon Andra Soni-Dimyati
SERANG - Bawaslu Banten Province is investigating a case of alleged violations of the village head (kades) in Mancak District, Serang Regency which declared itself to support the candidate pair (paslon) Banten Governor Andra Soni-Dimyati Natakusumah in the 2024 Pilkada.
"The report has been submitted, and is in the process of initial studies regarding the completeness of the terms of the report," said Bawaslu member Banten Badrul Munir in Serang, Antara, Wednesday, October 2.
He said that after an initial study was carried out regarding the alleged violation committed by the village head in Mancak District, if registered, the study process would be carried out for five days.
"This is still a preliminary study process related to the completeness, later if it is registered, the study process in Bawaslu will be carried out for five days after being registered to determine whether it can be followed up or not," he added.
If the village heads are proven to have violated, they can be subject to sanctions in the form of criminal sanctions, administration, or other laws.
"The sanctions start from criminal, administrative or other laws that are adjusted to the types of violations committed," he asserted.
He also appealed to village heads and ASN to maintain neutrality and not make decisions or actions that are beneficial or detrimental to candidate pairs.
It is known that 10 village heads in Mancak District, Serang Regency have declared themselves to support the Andra-Dimyati pair as the candidate pair for governor of Banten in the 2024 Pilkada.
