Police Track Video Of Caucasians Mesum On Mandalika Beach

The Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, West Nusa Tenggara, has identified a viral video recording showing scenes of a pair of foreign nationals (WNA) suspected of committing obscene acts on the coast of Kuta Mandalika Beach.

"For foreigners who are in the video, we are currently profiling," said Head of the Central Lombok Police Satreskrim Iptu Luk Il Maqnun, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 3.

Identification also leads to the personal who first uploaded the video on one of the social media platforms (medsos).

"The first uploader on social media is also being profiled, which also records," he said.

If they have obtained the identities of the parties, Iptu Luk ensures that the police will send an invitation letter requesting clarification.

"If we get (identity), we will ask for information," he said.

Iptu Luk said that the handling of this issue was not the result of a public complaint report, but because the video had gone viral on social media and received responses from thousands of viewers.

"There has been no report from the public, the police are moving based on viral videos circulating on social media," he said.

The 29-second video went viral on one of the social media platforms. The video shows a pair of foreigners suspected of having nasty scenes on the coast of Kuta Mandalika Beach, Central Lombok Regency.

Most video viewers criticized the actions of the pair of foreigners because they contradicted the public's view of Lombok Island, which is already known as halal tourism.
