Israel-Hezbollah Sale And Purchase Of Attacks, UN Secretary General Calls For An Immediately Ceasefire In Lebanon

Secretary-General of the United Nations Antulio Guterres expressed great concern about the increasing conflict in Lebanon. He called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

Guterres spokesman Stephane Dujarric said the statement warned the massive war should be avoided in Lebanon in any way.

Guterres spoke with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday, October 1 morning, according to Dujarric.

The UN system in Lebanon was deployed to provide assistance across the country.

The Secretary-General will continue his contacts, and his representatives in the field will also continue their efforts to defuse the situation," the statement said.
