DJPb: State Revenue In Papua Until August 2024 Recorded At IDR 11.58 T
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance through the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Kanwil DJPb) Papua said state revenue in the Papua Provision was recorded at Rp11.58 trillion or had reached 94.94 percent until August 2024.
Head of the Papua Regional Office of DJPb Moudy Hermawan, in Jayapura, Tuesday, said this indicated that state revenues were still growing positively with the largest contribution from the international trade tax sector which grew fantastically at 929.41 percent (yoy) in Papua.
"Which is based on components of state revenue, such as domestic taxes, international taxes, and PNBP where recorded positive growth until mid-2024," he said.
According to Moudy, such as domestic tax revenues until the end of August 2024, it still grew positively at IDR 5.37 trillion or 58.08 percent of the target, growing 16 percent.
"Then the highest contribution came from Non-Migas PPn which reached Rp3.09 trillion or 57.46 percent of the total tax revenue," he said.
He explained, while the Land and Building Tax (PBB) and the Acquirement of Land and Building Rights (BPHTB) recorded the highest growth of 37.82 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
"Then based on the type of tax, Article 21 of PPh contributes 41.82 percent of the total domestic tax or cumulatively grew by 13.67 percent," he said.

Moudy added, in addition, this achievement is also from customs and excise revenues which have exceeded the target, reaching 230.22 percent of the target, or growing 1114.45 percent year on year.
"As a result of the extra effort, the US dollar exchange rate increased compared to last year and the consistent import performance still grew," he also said.
