PT Samator Indo Gas Inaugurates The Largest Factory In Its Facilities In The Batang Integrated Industrial Zone

PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) has again confirmed itself as the center of growth for the strategic industry in Indonesia by inaugurating the latest factory owned by PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (Samator). The factory, which stands on an area of 28,010 m2, is Samator's largest facility throughout Indonesia, and is an important part of the development of the national gas industry.

President Director of Samator, Rachmad Harsono, expressed his appreciation to KITB for the continued support.

"We are proud to be able to grow with KITB. This facility is not only the largest among our factories, but is also equipped with renewable energy technology, such as solar panels, to support more environmentally friendly operations," said Rachmad, in his statement, Tuesday, October 1.

He added that Samator is committed to supplying industrial gas to all tenants in KITB as well as the Central Java and East Java regions. Acting Governor of Central Java, Nana Sudjana, was also present at this event and conveyed the importance of synergy between industry and the government in encouraging the regional economy.

"This factory is a real example of how industrial estates such as KITB can play a major role in strengthening local industries as well as having a positive impact on the residential economy," said Nana.

The President Director of KITB, Ngurah Wirawan, also expressed his pride in the partnership established with Samator.

"We are always committed to providing the best infrastructure that supports the growth of our tenants. With the presence of this modern Samator factory, we are increasingly confident that KITB can become an industrial area that is green, smart, and sustainable," he said.

Through an investment of IDR 500 billion, the company, which has been established since 1975, presents the advantages of factory facilities at KITB with 7000 Air Separation Units (ASU) technology to optimize the production process. With the ability to produce 7000 Liquid Oxygen (LOX), 7000 Liquid Nitrogen (LIN), and 280 Liquid Argon (LAR), the 56th Samator plant is able to produce the largest production capacity throughout Indonesia to meet the massive oxygen demand for industry.

Equipped with two turbine expanders (one as reserves) and a Safety Instrumented System (SIS) to regulate flow safety, temperature, and pressure, particularly related to oxygen products and O2 storage ranges, this factory also guarantees optimal operational safety.

In addition, the use of the Cross Flow Induced Draft Cooling Tower with low loss and evaliation loss, as well as the use of environmentally friendly solar power, further confirms Samator's commitment to efficiency and sustainability.

The existence of the Samator factory in KITB confirms the position of this area as a center of strategic industry in Indonesia, as well as strengthening the role of local industries in facing global challenges.
