Launching Next Year, Kia EV9 GT Will Have Active Spaillar Like A Supercar

JAKARTA - South Korea's auto brand, Kia intends to introduce EV9 GT in order to expand its high-performance electric vehicle lineup after successfully launching EV6 GT some time ago.

Not only that, the large-dimensional car was caught on camera several times with several different changes compared to the standard. Now, the SUV is again caught being tested on the streets of South Korea.

Quoted from The Korean Car Blog, Tuesday, October 1, the last image captured shows EV9 GT now has an active spoiler at the back just like the supercar at high speed.

In addition, another thing that distinguishes from the standard version is the appearance of more sports in order to optimize the aerodynamic side in order to get an optimal driving experience.

Then, the Kia EV9 GT will also be equipped with a different braking system with a striking green capper like the EV6 GT. This also shows that the car is a high-performance version of Kia's electric vehicle.

While the interior has yet to be seen, it is estimated that this SUV has a 12.3-inch instrument and infotainment system cluster and a 5-inch climate screen.

The company from South Korea is still keeping its performance specifications a secret. However, it is possible that the model took inspiration from EV6 GT with a dual electric motor driven all wheels (AWD) resulting in 576 dk of power and 738 Nm of torque.

Another impressive thing is that EV9 GT will have an all-wheel drive (AWD) driver so that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 4 seconds. This figure is fairly impressive considering that the weight is estimated at 2.6 tons.

Although the range power has not been disclosed, it is estimated that the battery will be taken from EV9 GT-Line which can cover a distance of 435 km in full charging.

Will complement EV9 ranks globally, this high-performance variant is expected to debut in early 2025.
