2024 Suhandinata Cup: Indonesia Beats North Mariana Islands
JAKARTA The Indonesian badminton team successfully beat the North Mariana Islands to win their second victory in Group F of the 2024 Mixed Team Junior World Championships, aka Suhandinata Cup.
In the match which took place on Monday, September 30, 2024, afternoon WIB, Indonesia successfully beat the opposing team with a landslide score of 110-47.
The Garuda Muda squad fell with changes in formation in the single sector. Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah, Richi Duta Richardo, Mutiara Ayu Puspitasari, and Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi, who previously took part in the first match against Macau, were rested.
The positions of these players were replaced by Bismo Raya Oktora and Hendry Leander in the men's singles as well as Kavitha Nadjwa Aulia and Saucean Dwi Ramadhani in the women's singles.

"This is my debut appearance at the Junior World Championships. Grateful to be able to play and contribute points for Indonesia," said Kavitha after the match as received.
Indonesia will next face Sri Lanka on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and Poland on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. On paper, Indonesia is very favored to win.
The women's doubles pair Isyana Syahira Meida/Rinjani Kwinara Nastine who played in two matches today said that they refused to underestimate the opponent even though they had won twice.
"We remain vigilant even though the opponent is still below us. However, it is not really possible to judge what our performance was like," said Rinjani.
The Indonesian Team Manager, Rionny Mainaky, hopes that his children can continue the positive trend that has been obtained in these first two matches.
"This is an opportunity to adapt. Both from field control and game patterns," said Rionny.
