List 5 Of MotoGP Grand Prixs Remaining After Mandalika 2024

JAKARTA The 2024 MotoGP season still has five series left after the Mandalika Grand Prix was completed on Sunday, September 29, 2024, last weekend.

The Mandalika International Circuit race is the 15th series this season. In fact, the race should have been the 17th series if two of them were not canceled.

Two places that cannot hold races this year are India, to be precise at the Buddh International Circuit, and Kazakhstan at the Sokol International Racetrack.

The remaining five series in this year's calendar start in a row from Japan (4-6 October), Australia (18-20 October), Thailand (25-27 October), Malaysia (1-3 November), and the top series in Valencia on 15-17 November 2024.

Spanish racer and MotoGP runner-up 2023, Jorge Martin, still leads the top of the standings for drivers from the total race that has been held.

The rider who defended the Prima Pramac Racing team has collected 366 points. He temporarily won 21 points over defending champion Francesco Bagnaia.

The distance of points opens the possibility that both will compete fiercely until the end of the season to seal the title from the world's most prestigious motorcycle race.

In addition to these two names, the competition for the title is also still open for Bagnaia's team-mates in Ducati Lenovo Team, Enea Bastianini, who is currently in third place with 291 points.

Six-time world champion Marc Marquez who defended Gresini Racing also still has a small chance. Kompatrio Jorge Martin is currently filling fourth place with 288 points.

The distance of points was widening after Marquez could not finish the race in Mandalika because his motorbike caught fire when the race had just taken 10 laps.
