Toyota Releases RAV4 Model 2025 In North America, Take A Peek At Changes
Toyota has again introduced an update to the ranks of vehicles in the North American market. After the Hybrid Corolla, now the manufacturer is introducing the 2025 RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid.
Written on Toyota USA's official website, Monday, September 30, the manufacturer renamed Prime with Plug-In Hybrid while at the same time hinting that this medium-sized SUV is equipped with an environmentally friendly PHEV driver.
According to the manufacturer, the change in the name is intended to help consumers find out more about the choice of powertrain from this SUV. Please note, the 'Prime' label has been in this model since 2019.
Another change is the removal of Toyota's signature blue oval emblem which symbolizes environmentally friendly vehicles from HEV, PHEV, BEV, and FCEV. They replace it with a blue spot in the trunk or back door.
Despite some changes, Toyota still retains several elements as before from exterior, interior, standard features, to powertrain.
The XSE variant now comes with a two-tone color offer combined with a black roof with a color that can be selected including Supersonic Red. To choose this color, buyers have to spend extra costs.
In addition, this type comes with a 19-inch alloy two-tone rim exclusively and vertical LED on the front that gives a sporty and luxurious look.

The interior is designed to meet the needs of its users with a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio touchscreen with a JBL speaker and a 12.3-inch digital cluster that can be adjusted according to taste.
As for type SE, various standard equipment such as driver seats that can be arranged 8-directions, 7-inch multi-information display, touch screen multimedia Toyota Audio, 6.6 kW on-board charger, to heating chair.
The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid 2025 feature is also equipped with a 2.5+ Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) feature consisting of a Pre-Collition System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Blind Spot Monitoring, and many more.
The SUV is also equipped with a 2.5-liter engine with a double electric motor that produces a combined power of 302 dk. Toyota claims the all-wheel drive provides a distance of up to 68 km of pure electric power in one full charge and fuel consumption reaches 16.1 km/l.
Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid 2025 will be sold in the US and Canada in limited quantities starting at the end of 2024 at prices ranging from US$43,865 (Rp663.5 million) or more expensive US$425 (Rp6.4 million) from the 2024 model.
